Greg Bohlen · Hillsborough, North Carolina

A regenerative vineyard and farm in Hillsborough, North Carolina, founded by Greg Bohlen.

Union Grove Farm is a regenerative vineyard and farm in Hillsborough, North Carolina, founded by Greg Bohlen, a lifelong farmer from Illinois who returned to his agricultural roots after a 30-year career in banking and venture capital. His vision was to build a farm focused on sustainable agriculture and growing healthy food.

The farm specializes in seedless, thin-skinned muscadine table grapes grown using regenerative practices, including no-till farming, cover crops, rotational grazing with Katahdin sheep, and nutrient-rich compost and vermicompost produced on-site. Union Grove Farm also raises certified regenerative grass-fed lamb.

As the nation's first vineyard to achieve Regenified's highest Tier 5 certification, Union Grove Farm is a leader in regenerative agriculture. It is also home to the Center for Regenerative Agriculture, which promotes education and the adoption of regenerative farming practices.
